Hi, I’m Monica

I’m a mom of two girls in Buffalo, New York, and I started Redefining Mom® back in 2013 while I was still working in corporate marketing. A year later I built my first spreadsheet for moms, a family budget, and I’ve been building tools like this one ever since.

In my house, December means holiday plans stacked on top of school concerts, gift lists, and Bills football, so I get how quickly the details pile up. Every planner I make is built around one idea: the details of your life deserve a home that isn’t your brain.

Right after checkout, you’ll get an email with your planner link. Click it, sign in to your free Google account if it asks, and click “Make a copy.” Your copy opens on the Start Here tab and saves to your Google Drive automatically.

Yes. Make your Google copy first, then go to File, Download, Microsoft Excel (.xlsx). Everything works in Excel too. If it opens in Protected View, click Enable Editing at the top.

No. You only type in the white cells. The shaded cells marked (auto) do all the math, and the sheet will warn you if you click one by accident. Sample data is included, so you can see what goes where before you add your own.

Yes. Star your copy in Google Drive and download the free Google Sheets app, and you can log a gift or a deal right from the store.

Yes. Right-click the Hosting tab and choose Duplicate to get a fresh copy for every event you’re hosting this season.
